For CSE, I was asked to make an introduction video to send over before my arrival to the class I will be working with this summer. Through the Residency Program (UTRPP) I have become pretty familiar with the iMovie program, though I am nowhere near expert status. Considering that I am going to be placed in a primary classroom, I decided that my narration could be a rhyme! Enjoy~
While home for Spring Break, my dad and I went through the totally tedious, fantastically patriotic activity of applying for a passport! This was the first step to really making my trip seem officially started. I can't wait put it to use this summer; my friends and I have already been thinking Ireland, France, and Italy.
In preparation for our adventure to England, our CSE group has been meeting to discuss what we should expect culturally and academically this summer. As intimidating as being in a foreign country is to me, I am thankful for the limited language barrier. At our first meeting, we got a good laugh from guessing some unfamiliar British terms we may encounter while overseas. I am really looking forward to getting to know my CSE colleagues these next few months and to hopefully plan opportunities to explore with them when we make it to Cambridge! |
CSE Program INFORMATIONFor the month of June, I am fortunate enough to have the opportunity to study abroad in Cambridge, England. In this page I will share my experience as I grow and learn! Archives
